With NFL legend Tom Brady now officially retired (are we really sure?), the spotlight will fixate on other superstar quarterbacks with critical decisions to make. One of them is the Seattle Seahawks' Russell Wilson, who's in the middle of various trade rumors.

After the Seahawks' dismal seven-win campaign, and Wilson playing arguably his worst season, reports have surfaced that the team could head into a different direction and blow up the entire squad. It's hard to imagine the Seahawks not having Wilson around, but it's not impossible.

But for Wilson's former teammate KJ Wright, who now plays for the Las Vegas Raiders, the three-time All-Pro QB could take a pay cut like what Brady did in his later years so the Seahawks can get him more talented teammates (via Sports Radio 950 KJR).

“You never want to count anybody’s pockets, but if you have all this money and your goal is to win, then you have to take a little less to eat so everybody can eat. We saw how Brady did it and look at him now.”

Wright, a burly linebacker, helped Wilson and the Seahawks capture the title in Super Bowl in 2014, so he definitely knows what the veteran signal-caller is capable of when surrounded by a tough supporting cast.

A lot of speculation has been going around when it comes to Wilson's contract, which will net him $19 million next season, and his future with the Seahawks. As we all know, when money is involved, nothing is certain.
