Even when he isn't playing at his beat, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is capable of putting on a show. Coming only minutes after he gave up a pick-six against the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Wild Card game, Wilson unleashed a bomb to wide receiver DK Metcalf who promptly ran into the end zone for a touchdown.
Regardless of the opponent, Wilson makes it look easy:

Working out of the shotgun, Russell Wilson escaped the pocket after Aaron Donald and the Rams forced the offensive line's collapse. With a defender in hot pursuit and linebacker Samson Ebukam blocking his running lane, the Seahawks' star quarterback quickly fired a 51-yard pass towards the breaking Metcalf, who had outpaced three defenders of his own.
With Metcalf catching the ball just past the 20-yard line, there was little Los Angeles could do in preventing the wideout from waltzing past the goal line.
The play was the second time Wilson broke the Rams' defense while keeping the drive alive for Seattle. Only moments earlier, the Seahawks quarterback used a hard pump-fake that got a Rams defender in the air and allowed him the running space to earn 17-yards and a first down.
