The Seattle Seahawks were one of the most injury-riddled teams in the 2017 campaign. However, one player that did manage to stay healthy was wide receiver Tyler Lockett.
Lockett has been in full force during organized team activities. According to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, even head coach Pete Carroll has taken notice:

He just couldn’t do as much, had to take care of his legs more. So he’s back at it, he’s really playing fast, he has no restrictions of any kind of after effects of the surgery of last year or since he’s been hurt. So that’s a real positive. He looked great today, in particular.’’
The Seahawks selected Lockett in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He was able to make an immediate impact in the offense thanks to his explosive skill set. However, Seattle has long waited for him to break through as the team's bonafide No. 2 option behind wide receiver Doug Baldwin.
Unfortunately, he has been unable to take that next step. He is coming off a modest campaign in which he registered 45 catches for 555 yards and two touchdowns. More importantly, he was able to play in all 16 games after suffering a severe leg injury in December 2016.
That said, it appears Seattle may be expecting more from Lockett in the 2018 NFL season. It goes without saying that Wilson is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL while Baldwin is his proven No. 1 wideout. It will be on Lockett to add another dynamic to this struggling offense.
