The Seattle Seahawks have been pondering the status of star wide receiver DK Metcalf after he banged up his knee in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans. Well, Metcalf appears to be just fine for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
In fact, when asked about his knee, Metcalf gave a very candid response and asked the reporter if he wanted to race.
Asked how his knee is DK Metcalf says it's good and asks @A_Jude "want to race?'' Metcalf said he'd give Jude a 50-yard head start.

A bold claim from Metcalf and surely nobody wants to race him, even if he isn't 100% healthy. So, it appears that Metcalf should be fine for Sunday's game and the Seahawks can have their dynamic duo of Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
Article Continues BelowDK Metcalf is no longer listed on the injury report, which makes sense since early today he said his knee felt so good he was ready to race a reporter lol.

Metcalf is always a terrific interview and has had some hilarious quotes, and this has to be up there.
At the start of the 2021 season, Metcalf has come around pretty slowly. In two games, he has just 10 catches for 113 yards and a touchdown as Tyler Lockett has been the biggest beneficiary thus far. Make no mistake, Metcalf's outbreak is coming, and maybe this week against the Vikings will be his game.
Nonetheless, it would be hilarious to see DK Metcalf race a reporter, and maybe one day he can display his talents more in that regard. But, he will be out there against the Vikings.
