Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was the primary reason why mercurial receiver Antonio Brown found his way to West Florida. Now that the 20-year veteran successfully got the entire Buccaneers organization to buy in, he will make sure that Brown pulls his weight accordingly.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Brown will be residing with Brady for at least a portion of the season and Brady vowed that he would make sure Brown attends all meetings and testing and abides by all COVID-19 regulations at work and away from the team.

“Brady told them he is going to make sure this is not a problem,” said one source who had talked to numerous members of the Bucs organization. “He guaranteed BA (coach Bruce Arians) that he would make sure this guy did everything he has to do, even if Brady has to drive him there himself. These two are going to be joined at the hip. And they made it clear to Brady that Brown is on a very short leash. If he (slips up), he's gone,” La Canfora added.

A year ago, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians was vocal in his reluctance to be involved with the seven-time Pro Bowler in any capacity. The two already spent time together back with the Pittsburgh Steelers where Arians served as an offensive coordinator from 2007 to 2011 before relocating to the Indianapolis Colts. Despite their history, the tides suddenly shifted within the organization thanks to Brady and the Bucs eventually decided to sign Brown to a one-year, veteran-minimum deal.

Knowing Antonio Brown's mercurial nature, it would be best for him to stick beside his team leader to make sure he stays on the right track. He will make his debut as a Buccaneer in their heavyweight matchup against their division rival New Orleans Saints in Week 9.
