Article Continues BelowThe Buccaneers and their fans have been in high spirits after the franchise won its second-ever Super Bowl on Sunday over the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-9. Brady went home with his seventh championship and fifth Super Bowl MVP. The veteran signal-caller completed 21 of 29 passes, which totaled 201 yards and three touchdowns.
Tampa Bay had one of the most pass-happy offenses in the league. In the big game, however, the rushing attack was on full display. Jones had 61 yards on the ground on 12 carries, while Leonard Fournette, who was picked up from the waiver wire, had 16 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown. Fournette also contributed to the passing game. He added 46 receiving yards on four receptions. Jones had an impressive year with the Bucs and had 978 rushing yards and seven scores in the regular season. He is also an adept pass-catcher.
This Tampa Bay squad made history as they are the only team to have a Super Bowl in their own stadium.
With Jones under contract next year, he will be instrumental as Tampa Bay will run it back and attempt to win back-to-back Super Bowls.
