It's never a bad thing to get some praise from Tom Brady. Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie quarterback Kyle Trask got just that from the 7-time Super Bowl winning quarterback.

Per ProFootballTalk, Brady has noticed and been impressed with Trask's drive and work ethic so far with the Buccaneers.

“Kyle’s done a great job from the day that he got here. He’s a very hard worker,” Brady said. “Kyle’s out here early, stays late, works with the younger guys. All the things you’re really looking for in a young player. This has got to be a huge priority in your life if you want to be doing this job for a long time — you’ve got to make it a huge priority.”

The Buccaneers drafted Trask in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Trask had an incredible season for the Florida Gators in 2020, leading to plenty of accolades and a good amount Heisman Trophy votes.

What's most interesting about the pick is most times when a team takes a quarterback in the second round, there is some sort of an idea to have them take over the keys to the car at some point. With Brady in Tampa Bay, that's not the case for now but it's relatively unknown as to how many more years Brady plans to play for. He's coming off a Super Bowl win with the Buccaneers and even at age 44, he hasn't showed many signs of slowing down.

Trask getting a chance to learn from and watch Brady in the Buccaneers uniform should only help him as he gets settled into the NFL.
