The Tennessee Titans got plenty of bang for their buck from cornerback Adoree Jackson in the 2017 NFL season. However, it appears Jackson is looking for an even bigger role this year.

Jackson's dynamic skill set allowed the Titans to line him up at a number of positions on the defensive side of the ball. He admitted during an appearance on Good Morning Football that he is trying to convince head coach Mike Vrabel to let him get more snaps on offense:

“I’m hoping so,” Jackson said. “I’m that bug in his ear just trying to make sure I keep being out there if I can. Whatever he needs me to do. Focusing on defense and special teams as in returning, but if he throws me out there I’m going to be excited and fired up.”

Jackson's comments should come as no surprise. He was one of the most electrifying players in college football during his time at USC. His versatility was the reason why Tennessee took him with the 18th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

He solidified that notion during his rookie campaign. Jackson was just one snap away from tying Houston Texans safety Tyrann Mathieu for the league lead in playing time last season. He also made an impact on special teams with 578 kick return yards and 270 punt return yards. Unfortunately, he was unable to etch out a role in the offense after taking five carries for 55 yards.

Fortunately, Jackson's pleas could potentially be heard by Vrabel. He was a bit of a two-way player himself during his days as a linebacker for the New England Patriots after hauling in 12 receptions for 12 touchdowns in his career.
