In a series of Instagram Story photos, Kidman showcased a more rustic side, bottle-feeding baby goats, embracing the farm life in black leggings and a matching puffer jacket. The farmhouse, co-owned with husband Keith Urban since 2008, boasts an array of animals, including Black Angus cows and alpacas, a testament to Kidman’s love for creatures big and small.
In an earlier interview with Vogue, Kidman had extolled the virtues of farm life, citing its simplicity, tranquility, and fresh air as its defining aspects. While Kidman, known for her love of felines, recently embraced a new addition to the family, a poodle named Julian, her affinity for animals isn’t confined to her newfound puppy love. Over the years, Kidman and Urban have upgraded their countryside retreat, adding a host of amenities like a long swimming pool, a gym, and a full-sized tennis court. Moreover, the couple has prioritized security, implementing measures such as grass mounds to deter prying eyes and constructing a gated guardhouse, valuing their privacy and safety at the property.
