The Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets traded spectacular defensive plays during the first quarter Game 2 of the Western Conference finals on Sunday night.

LeBron James denied Nuggets star point guard Jamal Murray at the rim on one end, but as he looked to finish the play at the other end of the floor, he got denied as well.

Nuggets forward Torrey Craig took a page out of LeBron's book, coming from behind with a chasedown block and batting James' layup attempt off the glass.

It was undoubtedly a brilliant effort from Craig, one which the Nuggets need in the series. To recall in Game 1, Denver were outscored early in the contest and never recovered as they fell 1-0 to the Lakers.

Hopefully, Craig can keep up the same intensity and effort as the series continues in the Orlando bubble
