The Green Bay Packers fell short against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, losing 23-19. With that, Green Bay has now fallen to 3-6 on the season.

The Packers have struggled to close out games down the stretch all season long. They have been in winnable situations but have failed to make the right plays in the final moments. This was the case again in Week 10, as Jordan Love threw two interceptions on potential go-ahead touchdowns.

The first occurred with a little over three minutes left in the game. Love took a shot to Christian Watson in the end zone, resulting in Patrick Peterson tipping the ball up and Keanu Neal getting the interception. The second came in the final seconds as Love was forced to throw to the end zone with three seconds left, and Damontae Kazee intercepted the pass.

Many didn't know what to expect in Love's first season as the starting quarterback. He has shown flashes of being a good quarterback this season but has also made plenty of mistakes. Love has completed 58.7 percent of his passes for 2,009 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He has also rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns. Green Bay will need Love to find consistency for the rest of the season to have a chance of winning games.

Let's move on to the Packers and assess who are most to blame for their painful Week 10 loss to the Steelers.

Christian Watson

While Love threw two interceptions in the game, wide receiver Christian Watson was a big reason for the inconsistent offense. Watson had a pivotal drop on a third down that could've extended a drive and led to points for the offense. He has all the talent to be a great receiver, but he has struggled with drops and not been the no. 1 wideout that Green Bay expected.

Watson finished the game with two receptions for 23 yards on seven targets. The seven targets show that Love and the Packers are trying to get him the football, but it hasn't resulted in production. Watson had a promising rookie campaign, with 41 receptions for 611 yards and seven touchdowns. Injuries and drops have halted his development, and Green Bay needs him to move forward.

Joe Barry/Packers run defense

Joe Barry has received a ton of scrutiny as the Packers defensive coordinator. Barry was on the hot seat at the end of last season, but head coach Matt LaFleur opted to keep him. Green Bay should regret that decision, as the defense has underperformed again.

The Packers have all the talent they need on the defensive end, with many first-round picks invested on that side of the ball. They have All-Pro talent at every level of the defense but haven't been able to put it all together. The run defense struggled mightily against the Steelers on Sunday. Pittsburgh had 36 carries for 205 yards and two touchdowns. Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren lead the way for the Steelers' running backs, as the team averaged an absurd 5.7 yards per carry.

The Packers' run defense is a big reason they lost this game. Pittsburgh's strong rushing attack allowed them to control the game. Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada was another coach on the hot seat as their offense has struggled most of the season. However, they turned into an elite rushing attack against Barry's Packers defense.

Green Bay has been having a difficult time in the post-Aaron Rodgers era. With that said, they certainly have a lot of work to do to become a consistent team.
