Before this season, we didn't even know if Aaron Rodgers would ever play in the NFL again. The Green Bay Packers quarterback did say that he considered retirement before ending his feud with the organization but now, he's playing at an extremely high level and has the Packers looking like a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
However, Rodgers recently spoke on the idea of hanging them up after 2021 and he certainly didn't rule the idea out.
Via Ryan Wood of The Green Bay Press-Gazette:
Aaron Rodgers is not ruling out retiring after this season: "I'm just enjoying this season for this season, and playing next year will definitely be in the thought process." He says it's important for him to "not be a bum" on his way out, but play at high level. He's doing that.

After all, the Packers star is 38-years-old. He does want to go out on a high note though and considering Rodgers is currently an MVP favorite, he'd be retiring with his head held high. Well, at least from an individual standpoint.
The veteran signal-caller also made it clear that whatever decision he makes after this season, it will be quick:
Whatever he decides after this season, Aaron Rodgers says it will be a "quick decision" instead of a long, drawn-out process. He'll speak with people close to him, including key members of #Packers, after the season ends and determine how he'll move forward.

Rodgers is certainly in the midst of a tremendous campaign, throwing for over 3,600 yards and 33 touchdowns. He's also been intercepted just four times in 14 games played. Right now, Rodgers is battling a toe injury but the Packers still have the best record in the NFL at 12-3.
They've already clinched the NFC North and are slowly getting back to full strength with key pieces returning from injury. If Aaron Rodgers ends up winning his second Super Bowl, it's safe to say he'd probably call it a day. But if the Packers fall short of expectations, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the QB run it back for another year. We'll have to see.
