The Green Bay Packers are feeling good at 3-0. However, they are far from as perfect as their win-loss record indicates. Though the Packers are finding ways to win, they aren't doing so while incorporating wide receiver Davante Adams as much as in prior years.

For instance, Green Bay beat the Denver Broncos 27-16 on Sunday. Adams didn't play a huge impact on that win, as he caught all four of his targets for 56 yards. Realistically, that needs to change, at least according to the man throwing him the ball: Aaron Rodgers.

“Four targets for Davante is obviously not enough, especially on a day like today when there was a lot of soft coverage and some stuff to be hit outside,” said Rodgers after the win, via Zach Kruse of USA Today. “We’ve got to keep finding ways to get him the ball more often.”

Adams hasn't done anything to sway Rodgers away from throwing to him. He's the same all-around receiver with one of the best release packages in the NFL. However, through three weeks of play, he has caught 15 of 21 targets for 198 yards and no scores. Per Kruse, he’s on pace for 80 catches on 112 targets and 1,056 receiving yards, a far cry from his 111/1,386/13 season a year ago.

Perhaps the Matt LaFleur offense is still gelling. Luckily, they can get out of that mode and watch Adams flourish on Thursday when they face the Philadelphia Eagles at home. Through three weeks of play, the Eagles' much-maligned secondary is averaging an allowed 300 passing yards per game.
