The Green Bay Packers are 11-3 and sit atop the NFC standings. They are coming off a thrilling 31-30 road victory over the Baltimore Ravens. In the victory, Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes and tied Brett Favre for the most passing TDs in franchise history with 442.

One of those touchdowns went to his deep threat, Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Well, Rodgers looks like he might be without that weapon on Christmas Day against the Cleveland Browns.

ESPN NFL Nation Packers reporter Rob Demovsky tweeted out the news.

Valdes-Scantling and Kenny Clark have reportedly been placed on the COVID-19 reserve list. They are not officially out for the Packers' Week 16 game against the Browns. If they are vaccinated and get two negative tests more than 24 hours apart, they can return to the team before the contest.

Valdez-Scantling is coming off one of his biggest games in his career. He reeled in five catches for 98 yards and a touchdown. He has typically been a boom or bust player for the Packers since they picked him in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Packers have placed former Pro Bowl wide receiver Randall Cobb on injured reserve. Equanimeous St. Brown has been out with an injury for almost a month. That leaves Davante Adams and Allen Lazard as the only wide receivers who have played meaningful snaps for the Packers this season.

The Packers will face off against the Browns at home on Christmas Day. The Browns will be coming off a short week and they played short-handed on Monday night in a last-second loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
