The Florida State Seminoles are a winless 0-2 to start to the season with the once-heralded program most recently getting upset at home by the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, an FCS school. However, despite back-to-back losses to open the season against Jacksonville State and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, that did not stop Seminoles offensive lineman Brady Scott from making a major life decision this past weekend.
Immediately following his team's loss to the in-state FCS program in Jacksonville State, Scott proposed to his girlfriend, and now fiance, right on the field, which has since become a viral sensation across all of the major social media platforms.

Of course, everyone and their mother is currently making a major fuss about Scott's decision to propose as the moment came right after a program-defining loss against an FCS program. However, this was obviously planned ahead of time while there's certainly no better way to turn things around for the better than this.
The photo of Brady Scott proposing is getting a lot of attention — here's the video.
I was getting shots of players walking off the field, heard some cheering, turned around — and Brady was on one knee.
Special moment for these two and their families! pic.twitter.com/OFZ1jYL5ge

Scott and the Seminoles came up short against the Gamecocks thanks to a last-second touchdown that was scored in quite the unfortunate fashion on a 4th down and 10 from the Jacksonville State 41-yard line. Prior to the memorably forgettable 20-17 loss at the hands of Jacksonville State, the Seminoles initially came up short against the highly ranked Fighting Irish of Note Dame, 41-38, in overtime — a defeat that also came at home in Tallahassee.
The struggling Seminoles will now hit the road for the first time in 2021-22 in Week 3 against an ACC rival in the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
