Steve Rebeiro and Johnny Gomez say farewell to the Los Angeles Rams' longest tenured player, left guard Rodger Saffold, in this week's edition of the Butting Heads Podcast.

Saffold signed a four-year, $44 million deal with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday, March 12. The guys discuss why the deal made sense for both sides to move on and the impact Saffold's departure leaves on the team. They also share their appreciation for Saffold, who battled through injuries to wear horns for nearly a decade.

Later, Steve and Johnny analyze the Rams' decision to use RFA and ERFA tenders on players such as Cory Littleton, Troy Hill, and Malcolm Brown. They also look at Dante Fowler Jr.'s big-but-short payday, and replacing Lamarcus Joyner with Eric Weddle for half the price.

Finally, Steve and Johnny give an immediate reaction to the Odell Beckham Jr. trade from the New York Giants to the Cleveland Browns. Steve lays out the strategy of building around quarterbacks on rookie deals and how it's changing the NFL's landscape. He also explains how utilizing that strategy in Cleveland makes sense for the Browns to go all-in now. The guys also look at the trainwreck known as the New York Giants, a team considered by many to be a legacy franchise.
