Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks unintentionally had some fans on the edge of their collective seats Friday when he took to Twitter with some of his quarantine blues.

Unsurprisingly, social media caught ablaze with the thought that Cooks was publically asking to be traded. But Rams teammate Cooper Kupp stepped in to let everyone know that Cooks' tweet was in no manner directed at his professional situation.

The clarity was definitely needed after the internet took hold of Cooks' tweet. For those worried about Kupp and Cooks teaming up heading into 2020, that seems to be the furthest from either man's mind.

Los Angeles stumbled to a 9-7 record last year on the heels of appearing in Super Bowl LIII. That mark wasn't enough to get them into the playoffs, leaving the organization on the outside looking in of the postseason for the first time under head coach Sean McVay's tutelage.

McVay's offense has helped unearth Kupp as a star wideout, one who produced 94 receptions for 1,161 yards and 10 touchdowns this past year. Cooks flashed superstar potential in 2018 with a 1,204-yard campaign, before taking a significant setback last year, accruing only 583 yards across 14 games.

Moving into 2020, the reliance on the passing game with quarterback Jared Goff may be more prevalent than usual with the departure of running back Todd Gurley. The Rams have myriad offensive weapons at wide receiver, but no two may be more integral to the winning column than Kupp and Cooks who — they can confirm — are on the same page.
