Of course, there is a little bit of bias seeping through Dickerson's statement seeing as how he was a running back, but he is also echoing the thoughts of others concerning Goff.
There had been some chatter earlier this offseason that the Rams were not entirely committed to Goff for the future, so it's looking like Dickerson will get his wish anyway.
Goff has two years remaining on his current deal and is scheduled to make $4.3 million this season and $22.8 million in 2020.
The 24-year-old is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he threw for 4,688 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions while completing 64.9 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 101.1 en route to a Pro Bowl appearance. Most importantly, he led the Rams to a Super Bowl appearance.
Goff, who played his collegiate football at the University of California, was originally selected by Los Angeles with the first overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft.
