The Los Angeles Rams will go up against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football in a game that will see Eric Weddle face his former team. Despite being on the Rams now, Weddle isn't willing to disclose any information on the Ravens.

Per Lindsey Thiry in ESPN:

“I could tell them a lot of stuff, but that’s just not who I am,” Weddle said. “So, we’re going to play it on the field, and the best team is going to win.”

Before signing with the Rams before the 2019 season, Weddle had spent three seasons in Baltimore. During his three years with the Ravens, the veteran safety combined for 151 solo tackles, 24 deflections, three forced fumbles, and 10 interceptions.

But at 34 years old, the Ravens chose to release Weddle in favor of signing Earl Thomas. Following his release, Weddle immediately made the decision to join the Rams in hopes to make another Super Bowl run.

It is commendable for Weddle to maintain his respect for his former team. At the same time, we've never seen a player so adamant about withholding information from his current team. Especially when this game could decide whether or not the Rams make the playoffs.

At the least, Sean McVay doesn't seem to be bothered that Weddle won't exclaim any details on Baltimore's schemes.

“I think he's got a lot of loyalty to those guys, even if he's not there anymore,” McVay said.

While Weddle remains mum on the Ravens, there's no doubt that Marcus Peters, who the Rams traded to the Ravens, is revealing everything that Wade Phillips will do on defense on Monday night.
