The Los Angeles Rams are looking to run it back and compete for another Super Bowl in 2022. The team made some big offseason acquisitions in order to bolster the roster, and it seems that the team is already better off for it. Allen Robinson joined the team in the offseason after a down year with the Chicago Bears and based on Matthew Stafford's early reviews of the veteran wide receiver, you can expect a big bounce back from A-Rob in LA.

Via 247 Sports, Stafford had some high praise for the Rams' newest offensive weapon, speaking on how much he admires Robinson's game.

“I’ve got to watch him up close and personal when I was in Detroit there for quite a few years when he was doing his thing in Chicago, I’m really impressed with him from a across the field deal and being able to be in the same locker room with him now, his professionalism, attention to detail, all those things he fits right in with that group that we have and looking forward to watching him do his thing,” the Rams QB said of Robinson.

“I think a lot of his work speaks for itself. Just what he’s been able to do for a long time but he’s a big physical guy that can still run, change direction, understands the game, tough catcher, can make contested catches. A really well-rounded receiver in my opinion, a guy that can do a lot of things.”

Robinson struggled in 2021 with the Bears, failing to develop a strong rapport with rookie quarterback Justin Fields. After back-to-back years with 150+ targets, Robinson was targeted just 66 times across 12 games in 2021. He recorded a career-low 38 receptions for just 410 yards and 1 touchdown.

Just because the production wasn't there for Robinson during his final year in Chicago, doesn't mean the talent isn't still present. Stafford has been impressed early on during OTAs, and the two will look to continue to develop a strong bond as the season inches closer.

With Cooper Kupp coming off a historic season in LA, Robinson could feast as the No. 2 target on the offense, drawing less difficult matchups from opposing defensive backs thanks to his superstar teammates.
