In the last few days, the trade rumor mill has been swirling around the New York Giants with the central focus being the possibility that star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. could be available. The front office has been listening to offers for Beckham Jr., but things have yet to take a serious turn.

One of the reported potential landing spots is the Los Angeles Rams, who were one of the first teams to contact the Giants about working toward a trade. According to Gary Myers of the New York Daily News, Beckham Jr. has already spoken to a pair of Rams players about his interest in joining the mix

The 26-year-old has no control of where he could get traded, but his possible interest in playing in Los Angeles does become an intriguing factor. The Rams have been one of the most active teams in the league over the first several weeks of the offseason and don't appear to be too concerned about taking on players that have questionable behavior issues after acquiring the likes of cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib along with defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

Los Angeles also possesses a sizable amount of draft picks to make a potentially appealing offer to New York for Beckham Jr. if the team is truly serious about moving him if the trade package is feasible. There have been reports that the Giants are looking to acquire a pair of first-round draft picks if any offer is to be taken into legitimate consideration.

Ultimately, this is still a developing situation that could have many twists and turns ahead as New York decides whether to sign the Pro Bowl wideout to a lucrative long-term extension that could pay him as possibly the top receivers in the league or move on from him.
