Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has become the youngest person at his position to win 10 games in a season since Bull Behman won a bunch with the Frankford Yellow Jackets.

At least we think, as all the information is a bit all over the place.

This tweet has a typo as far as who Behman was, but for credit purposes:

For random and fun context: Behman was a player-coach in 1929. Also, his career NFL coaching record was 13–20–7.

It also appears a few data points were off in the above tweet. The Jackets went 11–3–2 in 1928, but 9–4–5 in 1929. Behman did not win 10 games in 1929, as the tweet suggests, and wasn't the coach of the franchise in 1928.

Basically, despite credit going to NFL Research, there appears to be some issues with the numbers. To be fair, however, it could just be that the data is different depending on where you go to receive it, as I doubt the bookkeeping was the best back then.

Also, what is the deal with all those ties?

Eh, I digress.

Regardless of the exact amount of time it has been since a young coach has been as great as Sean McVay, the Rams must be thankful to have him. After suffering for years under inept leadership, McVay has the franchise looking great.
