Since the Los Angeles Rams made the move back to Los Angeles, part of the focus has been on the uniforms that the team will dawn while the new ones are in the process of being developed for the opening of the new stadium.

With that in mind, team CEO Kevin Demoff has stated that the team isn't a fan of the Navy version of the uniform but more of the classic blue and yellow attire, according to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk.

“It was always with the idea that we’d be able to revisit it during the offseason when there’s more time to plan,” he said. “Hopefully, they recognize the challenge we have and appreciate the connection the fan base has to the blue and yellow. If we can avoid wearing our Navy jerseys next year, we will.”

It is something that the team will look to emphasize more given that the NFL rules don't currently allow for them to change the uniforms just yet. What made this part of the process a bit frustrating is that each the Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins, and Jacksonville Jaguars have all redesigned their uniforms prior to the 2018 season.

That said, the team has reportedly been working with Nike over the last few months to get that process started in helping design the Rams' new uniform. In fact, Demoff has stated that the organization will let the fans know in the coming weeks about the timeline of when to expect the new uniforms.

In the meantime, the Rams will likely look to increase the usage of their blue and yellow uniforms that were used as “throwbacks” this past season twice at home against the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. At this point, Los Angeles can only wait to see if the league will allow for them to wear them more often in the 2018 campaign.
