The Los Angeles Rams managed to win Super Bowl 56 and in the process, Odell Beckham Jr. got his very first ring. But, it didn't come without disappointment as he exited in the second quarter after scoring the first touchdown of the game.

It has since been revealed that OBJ is set to undergo knee surgery after tearing his ACL for the second time in two years.

However, per Ian Rapoport of The NFL Network, the Rams wideout was already dealing with knee pain before the game:

As Rapoport noted, there was a chance Beckham would've had to undergo some type of surgery on the left knee anyway. Nevertheless, it's a heartbreaking situation for OBJ, who played such a key part in the Rams winning it all.

In eight regular season games, Beckham had five touchdowns. In the NFL Playoffs, he was even more electrifying, racking up 21 catches for over 250 yards and a pair of TD's. The Cleveland Browns cut ties with OBJ and he latched on with the Rams, making an immediate difference out wide.

He now becomes a free agent this offseason, but given how well he played in Los Angeles, it would not be a surprise to see the team offer Odell Beckham Jr. an extension, regardless of the injury.
