Todd Gurley is the face of the Los Angeles Rams' franchise and rightfully so. Not only is he one of the most dominant running backs in the NFL, he is also inching closer to reaching franchise records this early in his career.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, Gurley took another step towards one of Marshall Faulk's records against the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football. After catching a touchdown from Jared Goff, Gurley inched closer to Faulk's franchise record to most games with a touchdown in a row. Gurley is currently at seven, while Faulk's record is nine.

Marshall Gurley has been putting on a show this season once again for the Rams. Coming into tonight's game, Gurley had rushed for 255 yards and four touchdowns while also catching 11 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown. Those numbers show why Gurley has taken the league by storm.
Los Angeles is one of the only undefeated teams remaining in the NFL. Going up against a team as good as the Vikings is a major test for Sean McVay's football team. Gurley and company have not backed down.
Faulk is widely considered to be one of the top running backs to play the game of football. Gurley is joining an impressive company with the numbers that he has been putting up over the last few years.
If Todd Gurley continues playing the way he has so far this season, that record will be his in just a few games. McVay's system fits Gurley perfectly and has taken him to a completely new level.
