Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and current CBS analyst Tony Romo has been wizard-like in the booth throughout the last two seasons. Now wrapping up his second season as a broadcaster by calling the Super Bowl, Romo appears to have at least one fan in former Cowboys head coach and current Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Wade Phillips.

While the two have a relationship from their shared time in Dallas, Phillips believes that it may take a little assistance from Romo in order for the Rams — and specifically his defense — to slow down future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady and the heralded New England Patriots.

Phillips has been around the game long enough to know how to work alongside the media to create the best content possible. Though his football prowess is often on full display on the gridiron, his lighthearted banter typically comes out at least a few times throughout a season as well.

However, things may not be this fun when Phillips and his defense square off against the aforementioned Brady. Brady, who is appearing in his ninth championship game while seeking Super Bowl title No. 6, plays his best football in February. Even so, the Rams have sported one of the league's best defenses all year long and will be more than prepared for Brady and the Patriots.

One thing is for sure; this is not the last that we will hear of Phillips if the Rams are victorious on Sunday evening.
