With a number of big stars and contracts on the roster, the Golden State Warriors don't have a ton of space to play with on the salary cap. They were able to re-sign Shaun Livingston shortly after free agency began, but bringing back Andre Iguodala has proven more difficult.

The 2015 Finals MVP has received interest in the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets, and he had a meeting scheduled with the Sacramento Kings. Even the Los Angeles Lakers gave him a call.

Iguodala never had a meeting planned with the Warriors, despite the fact that many reports stated Iggy doesn't want to leave the Dubs. There is a method to his madness; Andre hopes to receive hefty offers from the aforementioned franchises so that he can go back to Golden State and demand more money.

After meeting with the Spurs at the start of free agency, Iguodala and his agent met up with the Rockets this morning.

Apparently, it went quite well. From ESPN's Brian Windhorst:

Andre Iguodala had an “excellent” meeting with the Rockets. Contract was offered, but Iggy has not accepted.

Positive vibes are common after meetings between quality players and contenders in free agency. Iguodala's next move, however, is not.

From Shams Charania of The Vertical:

Andre Iguodala has canceled the remainder of his free agency meetings, league sources tell The Vertical.

Does that mean he's going to Houston? Perhaps the Warriors are prepared to offer him a more lucrative contract?

At this point, all we can do is wait and see.
