The Seattle Seahawks will look to continue their charge as they are set to welcome an addition in running back Rashaad Penny who is expected to make his season debut against Washington Football in Week 15, per ESPN‘s Jeremy Fowler.

Penny sustained a torn ACL injury back in Week 14 of last season in an encounter against the Los Angeles Rams which ultimately ruled him out of the remainder of last year's campaign. He managed to amass a total of 370 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns through 10 games played for the Seahawks.

The San Diego State product has been on the team's physically unable to perform (PUP) list back in early August prior to the start of training camps. He was eventually placed on the team's reserve/PUP list at the start of the regular season and has yet to take the field this season.

His arrival will be a huge boost for the Seahawks as he hopes to shoulder some of the rushing load being carried by fellow ball-carriers Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde. Having another dynamic running back like Penny at the Seahawks' disposal will benefit them as they go up against a young Washington squad that is headlined by its stifling defensive rotation.

In other news, tight end Greg Olsen's playing status remains up in the air as he is still recovering from a gruesome foot injury suffered in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Seahawks are expected to have their hands full as they aim to notch their 10th win of the season against the Washington Football Team which is riding the momentum of a four-game winning streak heading to the Week 15 matchup.
