If you’ve ever watched a Warriors’ game in the past few years, no doubt you have seen star point guard Stephen Curry chewing on his mouthguard. Upon seeing this, you most likely thought to yourself, ‘Wow, I wish I could buy that mouthguard and be just like Steph Curry.'

Well now you can own one of those precious pieces of history for just $5,000.

SCP Auctions told ESPN's Darren Rovell one of the mouthguards was found by a fan, lying on the floor after a Warriors’ game this season. The mouthguard is now going to be put up for auction and, according to Dan Imler, vice president of the California-based auction house, the piece of rubber that used to reside in Steph Curry’s mouth could sell for as much as $5,000. Not bad for a piece of memorabilia covered in saliva.

“Steph Curry has given more life to mouthguards than any player in history,” Imler said. “The way he flips it in and out of his mouth has become part of watching him during a game.”

The real question is, if you win the auction, do you put it on display? Or do you channel your inner Steph Curry and wear it during pick-up games?
