The Golden State Warriors are primed for another exciting season for the ages. They are leading in all of the oddsmakers projections, and are slated to win the championship if healthy.

There has been many distractions that have come their way in the form of controversy long before the season tips off.

ESPN's Ethan Strauss wrote a story focusing on team chemistry, and blames Draymond Green for disturbing the Warriors' cohesiveness with his behavior issues.

Klay Thompson took exception to Strauss’ article due to anonymous quotes from unknown sources. He feels there should be some level of accountability after all.

For his part, Stephen Curry spoke with  USA Today's Sam Amick and says the distractions haven’t penetrated the locker room.

“Honestly, none of that stuff has crept in. We have to respond. Obviously the article about Draymond, we all thought it was ridiculous and kind of looking through a keyhole at somebody's life that you don't really know about.”

From Curry’s seat, the team is doing fine and aren’t dealing with any internal struggles. They genuinely like each other, and whatever issues come up isn’t outside of the norm that any other team may face.

“We see every single day what goes on, what a guy like Draymond brings to the table for us, how he makes us better, how KD does that for us, what Klay does for us, all the way down the list.

And we appreciate everybody's role. We appreciate what our common goal is. When we get back in the locker room, and practice, and when we're by ourselves, the mood is pretty solid, something that I'm pretty confident will allow us to have maturity when it comes to the noise around us and how we handle it and not letting that affect how we play on the court and how we see each other and let that get in the way. I'm going to do my part in trying to lead that charge, and make sure it's all about basketball.”

That is exactly what it will take for the Warriors to come out victorious in June.
