Lonzo Ball has been turning heads for his improved play for the New Orleans Pelicans as of late. However, Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul just gave him a stern reminder that he is still the OG point god of that franchise.

With under five minutes left in regulation of the Pels' hosting of the Suns at Smoothie King Arena on Friday, CP3 toyed around Ball's defense before launching a deep trey over his outstretched arm. Paul hit nothing but nylon on that shot, extending Phoenix's lead to double-digits. They went on to win with a final score of 132-114.

The 10-time All-Star was seen mouthing off that he “owns the place” as he jogged back to the other end. Hard not to agree with that, considering Paul is indeed the greatest playmaker that the franchise has ever seen.

Chris Paul torched his former squad with a double-double of 15 points and a season-high 19 dimes, on 6-of-11 shooting from the field and three made 3-pointers. He also recorded four rebounds, two steals, and one block in 31 minutes. Ball, for his part, had a great showing of his own with 21 points, 12 assists, three steals, and two rejections against the Suns.

Still, CP3 made sure Ball recognizes the greats, just in case he forgot.
