Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker will be an All-Star in 2021 after all, as the Kentucky product has been selected to replace Los Angeles Lakers star power forward Anthony Davis in the NBA All-Star Game in Atlanta, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Booker, 24, will be appearing in his second consecutive All-Star Game. Last season, the Suns star was handed his first All-Star team selection after an injury sidelined Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard.

With the Western Conference incredibly loaded with talent, several teams saw stars left off the 12-man West roster of All-Stars. The starters, voted by a combination of fans, media, and the players, include LeBron James (captain), Nikola Jokic, Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, and Kawhi Leonard.

The All-Star reserves were announced just yesterday and did not feature such names as the Suns star Booker or San Antonio Spurs swingman DeMar DeRozan, among different snubs.

Devin Booker, however, will get his wish with a second consecutive All-Star appearance representing the Suns. Booker joins backcourt teammate Chris Paul as the pair of Suns guards playing in Atlanta next month for the controversial All-Star Game.

In 26 games this season, Booker has averaged 24.7 points and 4.3 assists in 34.5 minutes a contest, shooting 50.1 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from the 3-point line. Booker, along with the addition of Paul via trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder, has propelled the Suns to a playoff spot in the Western Conference under the current standings. At 20-10, the Suns possess a 3.5 game advantage over the No. 5 seed Spurs.
