There will be a reunion on Monday when the Phoenix Suns host the Boston Celtics, as Suns center Aron Baynes will face off against his old Celtics teammates. Boston forward Jaylen Brown, who called Baynes “crazy as hell,” is no doubt looking forward to seeing Baynes again despite his claim that the big man can something be nuts.

When Baynes was relayed the message about being called crazy, he said “that’s the pot calling the kettle black, so we’re good.”

Baynes played two seasons with the Celtics. Boston traded him to the Suns this offseason. His move from Boston to Phoenix wasn’t talked about that much by pundits, but with the Suns playing well and Baynes producing stellar numbers, people outside of Phoenix are starting to pay attention to what Baynes and the Suns are doing.

Through 11 games, Baynes is averaging 15.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists while shooting 57.1 percent from the field and 46.8 percent from beyond the arc. He is making $5.4 million this season. Baynes will become an unrestricted free agent next offseason and is setting himself up for a nice payday.

Brown and the Celtics are coming off their first loss of the season. Boston fell to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. It should be a competitive game in Phoenix on Monday.
