Austin Butler recently recalled a house party thrown by Paul McCartney that featured Taylor Swift as DJ.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Butler reminisced about an “insane” house party he attended that Kimmel was also at. He was in awe of seeing former Beatles McCartney and Ringo Starr in the same room, calling it “amazing” to see it.

He then joked that Swift was “DJing at one point,” which is a hilarious image.

“She DJs at parties now,” he quipped.

The real question is what Taylor Swift was playing as DJ — perhaps she spun some of her records or some of Paul McCartney's timeless Beatles classics.

While Butler was hanging out with rock legends at this party, he is best known for playing one. In Baz Luhrmann's Elvis, Butler played the King of Rock ‘n' Roll. The performance landed him his first Oscar nomination. He ultimately lost to Brendan Fraser (The Whale).

Austin Butler first gained notoriety for his role in Zoey 101. He also led The Carrie Diaries and The Shannara Chronicles. Before starring in Elvis, Butler had a small role in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Elvis propelled Butler to new heights in his career. He starred in Dune: Part Two as Feyd-Rautha and is in The Bikeriders.

Paul McCartney, who just turned 82, is known for his legendary career with the Beatles and Wings. Despite both bands breaking up, McCartney has released countless studio albums as a solo artist and embarked on 17 concert tours.

He recently announced two new legs of the “Got Back” tour. The first is in South America and then McCartney will visit Europe in December 2024.

His most recent studio album, McCartney III, was released in 2020. It closed out a trilogy of three self-titled albums.

Currently, Taylor Swift is knee-deep in the European leg of the “Eras” tour. The tour commenced in March 2023 with a show in Glendale, Arizona. After playing dates in North America through the summer, Swift visited Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil to end the year.

In 2024, Swift played shows in Japan, Australia, and Singapore to begin the year. After a two-month break, Swift commenced the European leg of the “Eras” tour with shows in Nanterre, France. After playing a show in Cardiff, Wales, Swift is about to play her first extended stay at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

Swift will play three shows at Wembley before playing more European shows. She will return to the venue in August for a five-night stay to close out the “Eras” tour's current leg. Swift then has nine dates lined up for the United States before closing the tour with nine dates in Canada.

Additionally, Swift is coming off the release of her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. She announced the album during her acceptance speech for winning Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2024 Grammys.

She has also re-recorded four of her past albums released by Big Machine Records. Fearless was the first to get the re-recorded treatment. Red, Speak Now, and 1989 followed. Reputation and her self-titled debut album are the last two left.
