It seems that a lot of teams in the NFL are shopping players at the NFL Combine. One player who was just added to the list of guys being shopped is Kevin Johnson from the Houston Texans, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Johnson holds a $9.1 million cap hit so it's unlikely any team will make a move for his services. He also becomes a free agent this month so teams could just wait until then to try to bring him in.

The Texans seem to be content moving on from the injury-riddled cornerback. In 2018, Johnson played in just one game and was put on injured reserve after suffering another concussion.

Johnson has suffered multiple concussions in his four-year career with the Texans. The oft-injured cornerback could bring a risk but has potential still if he can remain healthy.

Hopefully, Johnson can get himself healthy this offseason so he can land another opportunity in the NFL. The former 16th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft has good size for a cornerback at 6-foot.

In his rookie season, Johnson started in all 16 games. The injury bug would get him the next three years, causing him to miss 29 games due to injury.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of the Texans bringing him back on a prove-it type deal but it isn't likely. The Texans also have to worry about the impending free agencies of Kareem Jackson and Tyrann Mathieu this offseason.

In the NFL, availability is the best ability—which may cause teams to avoid Johnson. Despite the injuries, Johnson can still prove to be a beneficial addition to an NFL roster.
