JJ Watt is known to be one of the strongest players in the NFL. The Houston Texans' All-Pro defensive end knows how hard it is to get to the level he has reached.

JJ Watt took to Twitter to say he has learned how to balance pushing himself to the breaking point and then recover. After all, Watt has had tough offseasons in which he has had to rehab injuries and get himself back into shape.

Since being drafted 11th overall by the Texans in the 2011 NFL Draft, JJ Watt has been known to be one of the hardest workers in the NFL. That includes his time in the gym, the film room, and on the playing field.

In Watt's eight-year career, he has totaled 92 sacks, 22 forced fumbles, 154 tackles for loss, and 244 hits on the quarterback. In 2016 and 2017, his season was cut short due to injuries. The Texans' Pro Bowl defensive lineman had to work hard to get back to where he is now.

From 2011 through 2015, JJ Watt was able to start in 80 straight games in the regular season. This was because Watt is always focused on taking care of his body. Players in the NFL tend to find different ways of prolonging their careers.

As a result, players go on strict diets, work out an extensive amount, and take some time to rest their bodies. For Watt, this comes after he may do an excruciating workout that pushes his body to the limits. If his methods are the reason why he is so good at his craft, they are absolutely working.
