The Tennessee Titans had to win in Week 17 just to reach the NFL playoffs.

Since then, the Titans have beaten the NFL's top defense (New England Patriots) and offense (Baltimore Ravens) en route to a date with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship.

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller expects the Cinderella story to conclude with the Titans hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in Miami (via Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report):

“If you had asked me all the way toward the beginning of the season, I would have said the 49ers,” Miller explained. “But now I think the Titans.”

Why the change of heart?

“It's about momentum,” he said. “I've lived through that. When a team gets hot, they are hard to stop, even if the team they're playing is better.”

Indeed, Miller and the Broncos had plenty of momentum entering Super Bowl 50, having just shut down a pair of high-powered offenses in the Pittsburgh Steelers and Patriots. Denver's defense capped a historic run by dominating Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.

The Titans might not have the kind of defensive playmakers that Broncos team had, but they are arguably more balanced.
