The Tennessee Titans got the big win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. It was a huge win for this franchise as they defeated a divisional rival to increase their chances of making the playoffs. However, the team might have lost Derrick Henry to do so.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Derrick Henry might have suffered a season-ending injury in the game. He checked out of the game early in the first quarter but did return. Considering Henry was able to finish the entire game, it's surprising to hear he could be out for the remainder of the season.

This is absolutely terrible news for a Titans team who has been on fire the past few weeks. Losing Derrick Henry now could be detrimental to the franchise's Super Bowl hopes. He was in MVP discussions and was on pace to have one of the best seasons a running back could have in NFL history.

The team will now have to rely on AJ Brown and the passing game. Brown, who played well against the Colts, has looked like a top receiver in Tennessee's last few games. However, the offense starts and ends with Derrick Henry, so it's unclear how this team will respond.

According to Jay Glazer, Henry may have broken the 5th metatarsal of his foot. Typically that takes six weeks to heal but could take 3-4 months for Henry to get back to 100%.

The NFL trade deadline is November 2nd. and the Titans could be active in the next couple of days. There are a handful of running backs available via trade that Tennessee should consider reaching out about.

We'll see what comes to fruition, as more news surrounding Henry's injury will come to light in the coming week. Hopefully, it's not as serious as it sounds. However, unfortunately, it's not looking good for Derrick Henry or the Titans.
