The Tennessee Titans have been the class of the AFC South for the last few years, winning the division in both 2020 and 2021, and making the AFC Championship Game in the 2019 season after securing a Wild Card berth. Last year, on the final day of the season, the Titans lost the division title and a playoff berth to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Currently, they're at the bottom of the AFC South, fielding trade calls for All-Pro safety Kevin Byard, and wondering what the move at quarterback will eventually be as Ryan Tannehill's time in Tennessee comes to a close. But man, if anything can turn the Titans season around, it's the Houston Oilers-inspired uniforms that the Titans will be wearing when they host the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday.

Much like a sunset over the Gulf of Mexico, or the cinematography of Roger Deakins, or a Grammy-nominated song by Snoop Dogg and Pharrell, or my dog Olive, these uniforms are absolutely Beautiful with a bold-faced and capital-B. The color combo is perfect. The vibes are immaculate. The nostalgia is overwhelming.

With no rooting interest in the Tennessee Titans game against the Atlanta Falcons, let me tell you that I will be overjoyed as I watch Derrick Henry do his best Earl Campbell impression, violently running over one defender after another on Sunday afternoon. He might rush for 350 yards and 7 touchdowns. An Angry Runs nomination on NFL Network's Good Morning Football is absolute certainty.

I for one could not be more excited to soak in those Columbia Blue uniforms on Sunday.
