Sunday's Week 16 matchup with the New Orleans Saints is crucial for the Tennessee Titans to reach the playoffs, and this 41-yard touchdown reception by tight end Jonnu Smith from quarterback Ryan Tannehill was important in setting the tone early in the first quarter (via NFL).

Smith, 24, caught his third touchdown of the season with this opening-quarter score via Ryan Tannehill, who has impressed the Titans with his performance under center in the wake of former franchise signal-caller Marcus Mariota's benching.

The Titans are jockeying with the Pittsburgh Steelers—also playing at the same time today—for the last Wild Card spot in the AFC. While the Saints have already clinched a postseason berth, they won't be slouches with Drew Brees leading the team. Nevertheless, New Orleans is not invulnerable, and the Titans need all they can get on Sunday to push their postseason chances farther. However, Derrick Henry isn't playing today, which certainly hurts the running game and Tennessee's chance.
