Kevin Holland is starting to turn into the UFC's version of Batman. The current welterweight has been stopping crime all over Houston and it's not because he's actively looking for it.

TMZ reported that the UFC star was in a sushi restaurant when the situation became dangerous. Kevin Holland was simply minding his own business when an active shooter came into the restaurant with a loaded gun.

“The 29-year-old welterweight was at Ra Sushi in the Highland Village of Houston around 11:30 PM on Monday … when witnesses say someone entered the restaurant and fired a gun into the air,” TMZ wrote.

Kevin Holland was not alone in stopping the shooter. The UFC welterweight was joined by two other men that jumped in and helped stop the shooter. A moment of bravery that saved the lives of the many people in the restaurant.

One of the people that stepped up was Patrick Robinson. He was there alongside the UFC fighter and he spoke out on the situation afterward.

“We were eating and the next thing you know, a gunshot just popped off,” Robinson told ABC 13. “So everything paused and then everybody started running to get down under a table.”

“We got him down, apprehended him, got the gun away from him and the bag that he had.”

By the time the police got there, Kevin Holland and the other two men had the suspect subdued and unarmed. The UFC fighter is turning into a real hero for his city as he continues to help stop crimes that happen in front of him.
