With the NBA Finals resuming on Wednesday night for Game 3, the Golden State Warriors continued their streaky shooting from beyond the arc.

The Warriors got it going from the get-go from 3-point range in the first quarter setting an NBA Finals record with nine made in the period, according to ESPN.

Golden State built on their strong start in the second quarter by working their way to 67 points at the half behind 60 percent shooting from beyond the arc while setting another NBA record with 12 made 3-pointers in a half. Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry were responsible for nine of those makes in the first two periods.

Thompson led the charge for the Warriors with 21 points on 5-of-7 from 3-point range while Curry had all 12 of his points coming from beyond the arc. What was most impressive about that feat was that Golden State only scored 14 points in the paint while committing 12 turnovers.

The collective offensive first half performance from Golden State helped offset LeBron James‘ strong first half where he scored 27 points in 22 minutes played.
