The Golden State Warriors have won three championships in the last four years. And with the addition of DeMarcus Cousins this summer, they may be on their way to another ring. If this doesn't spell dynasty, we don't know what will. Of all the people in the sporting world, Adam Silver, NBA Commissioner, wants the Warriors to “increase their dominance.”

Per Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated, Silver shared his thoughts regarding the Warriors, noting that they should be doing all means necessary to add more heft to their powerhouse roster. For him, that's what every NBA team's goal should be: do everything in their power to compete but stay within the rules.

“We want teams to compete like crazy,” Silver said. “I think the Warriors—within the framework of this deal—should be doing everything they can to increase their dominance. That’s what you want to see in a league. You want teams to compete in every way they can within the rules.

“I don’t necessarily think it’s per se bad that the Warriors are so dominant. As I’ve said before, we’re not trying to create some sort of forced parity. What we really focus on is parity of opportunity.”

Some might misunderstand Silver's words. He is not rooting for the Warriors. He's simply pointing out that the Warriors know that they are everyone's target. They are the team to beat and subsequently, their foes will finetune their rosters — figuring out which effective line up can counter the dreaded Hamptons 5.

For Silver, it makes sense that the Warriors are adding more key pieces. Basketball is a sport. And the goal of every sport is to win.
