The Steve Kerr-led Golden State Warriors have a plethora of talent on their roster, but their biggest and most important piece may be three-time NBA champion Stephen Curry. Since being drafted by the franchise in 2009, Curry has transformed into one of the premier players in the association and an integral part of the dominant dynasty that now rules over the league.
Recently, Reddit user freshcharity outlined just how important Curry has been during Steve Kerr’s reign as head coach.

As you can see, Kerr has enjoyed a staggering 84% winning percentage with Curry on the floor since he was appointed head coach in 2014. Since taking over the job, Kerr took the Warriors’ iso-heavy playing style and transformed it into one of most exciting brands of basketball we’ve seen in the league with their fluent passing and movement.
Due to the upgrade in system and unselfish playing style, Curry has greatly benefitted. So much so the 30-year-old was crowned the league’s back-to-back NBA MVP in 2015 and 2016.
After running away with the NBA championship in June, Curry has spent this off-season visiting his fans in the Philippines and Japan. Always popular in Asia, Curry makes it a priority to spend some time with his loyal fan bases abroad before the new NBA season tips off.
Curry will be returning to American shores this week however, as training camp for the Warriors commences this Saturday in Oakland. The defending champions tip off their regular season campaign on October 16th against the Oklahoma City Thunder inside Oracle Arena on league opening night. The matchup promises to be an intriguing one, as the Warriors begin their quest for a three-peat against a bitter rival.
