Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman was a first-hand witness to greatness personified on Sunday, as he watched teammate Stephen Curry go off on a 62-point career-high performance against the Portland Trail Blazers.

In his post-game interview, Wiseman expressed how it felt like he was watching a video game all night long (h/t warriorswire on Instagram):

Wiseman himself has played his fair share of NBA 2K, so it was awe-inspiring for him to see Curry's insane exploits come to life:

“It's crazy. It reminded me of 2K because I used to play with Steph all the time and I used to drop like 60. So just like actually watching it personally, that was phenomenal. He's a legend so just watching in person, it was great.”

Curry led the Warriors to a 137-122 victory over the Blazers, finishing with a career-best 62 points on 18-of-31 from the floor and a pristine 18-of-19 from the line. The former back-to-back MVP also logged eight three-pointers, five rebounds, and four assists in what was an undeniably historic performance for him.

For his part, Wiseman wasn't too bad himself, chipping in with a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double, to go along with an assist and two blocks in just 22 minutes of play. The Warriors' second overall pick came into Sunday's matchup with a left ankle sprain, but it did not seem to bother him all night long. Wiseman has emerged as a star-in-the-making for the Dubs early on.
