There are very few statements that the NBA community can definitively agree on. Who the true GOAT is? Nope. Which team is the greatest of All-Time? No way. But best shooter in NBA history? That's only Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.
But someone forgot to tell Kevin Porter Jr. that. The Houston Rockets swingman dubbed someone else the top shooter in his eyes – and it's not the Warriors star.

Kevin Porter Jr. has played Stephen Curry and the Warriors several times, so he definitely can't feign ignorance or say he's never seen Steph up close and personal.
Armoni Brooks is definitely a terrific shooter. Judging by how effusive his Rockets teammates are praising him, he's probably gotten even better at stroking it from deep. Brooks played in 20 games for Houston last season, connecting from beyond the arc on a solid 38.2% on an impressive 7.9 attempts per contest.
But Stephen Curry hasn't even shot below 40% for a full season ever in Golden State. This while being the number one defensive focus of opposing teams every single night.
Though in all likelihood, Kevin Porter Jr. was probably just hyping up his own teammate and used hyperbole in the process. Steph Curry probably won't pay this any mind at all, but safe to say I'll be tuning into the first Warriors-Rockets game this season.
