Some athletes choose to block out the naysayers on social media. Others choose to use negative tweets and posts as fuel for the fire. Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is in the latter category. Well, sort of.

Curry explained during a recent appearance on NBC Sports Bay Area's “Dubs Talk” podcast he genuinely enjoys reading tweets during games:

“I might have like a sick mind. It's pure entertainment for me, to be honest,” Curry said, via NBC Sports Bay Area. “[I] don't take myself too seriously when I play well or when I don't, ‘cuz I know it's the same intentions in trying to be great. So, like, when I go read 'em, it's hilarious just how you want to fall off a cliff if I'm 0-for-8 from the 3-point line, or I'm not shooting enough … or a night like 53 [points against the Denver Nuggets on Monday] in chasin' Wilt [Chamberlain] where I can do no wrong.”

It's pretty hilarious to envision Curry scrolling through his phone while Steve Kerr gives the Warriors a halftime pep talk. Yet that exact scenario has probably played out numerous times throughout the course of the season.

Curry “liked” a tweet from Grant Liffmann of the “Dubs Talk” team during halftime of his explosive scoring performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.

Curry might seem like an unassuming guy. But he has a killer instinct and loves to prove doubters wrong. It's why one of his nicknames is “Baby-Faced Assassin.”

Remember, this is the same dude who did not get a single offer from “blue blood” Division I programs, eventually paving his own way at Davidson College.

Yet all these years later, Curry is a three-time NBA champion with the Warriors and two-time league MVP on the cusp of making history at the age of 33.

So keep the tweets and mentions coming. Curry assuredly doesn't mind in the slightest.
