Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have a score to settle against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers when they face off on Tuesday for NBA's opening night.

Last season, the Lakers beat the Warriors in the play-in tournament, with LeBron delivering the killer three-pointer. The loss forced the Warriors into a do-or-die affair with the Memphis Grizzlies for the last spot in the NBA Playoffs and got booted out.

So yeah, to say that the Warriors are out to exact revenge would be fair. While Curry has been astounding in their preseason games, he should get an extra boost from a feel-good story ahead of their much-awaited game against the Lakers.

He posted on Twitter on Monday how Team Curry, his all-girl squad, battled in an exhibition game in New York. The two-time NBA MVP was also happy with how they helped the community and spread cheer.

Curry has always been a good ambassador of the NBA and his support of aspiring players is always a good thing to witness. The rough patch he dealt with in the offseason due to the marital squabbles of his parents wasn't easy at all, so seeing him staying positive must be reassuring for Warriors fans.

The reigning scoring champion will look to carry his fine showing from last season as he tries to get win no.1 for the Warriors against a depleted Lakers roster.

Curry doesn't need much to motivate himself, as he brings it every game. But seeing his all-girls crew handle business should get him even more pumped up.
