After this season, Stephen Curry will just have one more year on his current deal with the Golden State Warriors. As such, there have been some whispers of late pertaining to the two-time MVP's future with the Dubs.

Curry has sounded off on the rumors of himself potentially leaving the Warriors once his contract is up, as he reiterated his desire to remain with Golden State for the rest of his career:

Steph spoke about the likes of Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki who both spent their entire careers with just one team. Simply put, the Warriors star wants to follow in their footsteps.

“It’s always been a priority [to stay with the Warriors],” Curry said. “… You never know what can happen, obviously. But I feel like that’s always been something that would mean so much to me.”

By saying how he believes that anything can happen, Stephen Curry did leave a bit of doubt out there, though. Then again, this isn't particularly concerning considering how both Curry and the Warriors are more than willing to extend his current deal.

It's going to be a matter of money, though. At 33, this is probably going to be Curry's last big-money contract, so he has to make sure it counts. We all expect him to sign on the dotted line, but of course, he also wants to be in a good position to negotiate the best deal once extension talks start to heat up.

Steph is going to be a Warrior for life, but he's also going to want to get paid.
