The Golden State Warriors won the 2021-22 Larry O'Brien trophy, but Steve Kerr believes the current roster hasn't reached its peak yet.

For Kerr, he sees the Warriors taking bigger steps forward in 2022-23, especially after their NBA Finals win against the Boston Celtics. If anything, that championship experience should give his veterans and the young guns with the confidence that they can overcome anything.

“I think we’re gonna be even better next year. Just coming off the championship and what that will mean to our team’s collective confidence,” Kerr said in his latest appearance on 95.7 The Game, via Audacy.

Sure enough, the last thing the Celtics or the rest of the NBA want to hear is the Warriors getting better. They have been a model of consistency and team building for the better part of the past decade, so you know Steve Kerr isn't exaggerating when he says they can still improve and take their game to the next level.

Of course the Warriors are expected to face tougher competition next campaign, especially with several other powerhouse teams getting healthier or adding big pieces to their roster. Nonetheless, with their core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, as well as a young group featuring Jordan Poole, James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody, the Dubs have every reason to be confident and believe that they can reach a higher gear.
